What is a DSCR loan?
DSCR stands for Debt Service Coverage Ratio. A DSCR loan is a non – QM (non-qualified mortgage) designed specifically for investment properties. DSCR lets you qualify based on the property’s rental income, not your personal income. Qualify with no tax returns, W-2s, or jumping through traditional income hoops. DSCR loans have no debt-to-income caps to hold you back from building your portfolio.
What are the requirements for a DSCR loan?
Typically, Minimum 20% down payment. If ratios work, as low as a 15% down payment on SFR purchases.
A 640 credit score will qualify you for most scenarios, but not all.
A property that generates (or can generate) rental income.
How long does it take to get a DSCR loan?
